It features advanced AI subject tracking, QuickShots, and the ability to capture ultra-smooth 4K video. With up to 18 minutes of flight time, the Neo is perfect for capturing day-to-day adventures or fun moments with friends, whether indoors or outdoors.
The DJI Neo doesn't need a remote control, just press the mode button, select your preferred shooting mode, and the drone takes care of the rest. Whether you're snapping 12MP still photos or recording stabilized 4K video at 30 frames per second, the Neo is designed to make your shots look smooth and professional. Once you're done, the drone will return to your palm.

AI Tracking and QuickShots
The Neo's AI is built to follow you while you’re on the move. Whether you’re biking, skating, or hiking, the drone easily captures dynamic follow shots. For more creative angles, Neo comes with six intelligent shooting modes under QuickShots:
- Dronie: The drone flies backward and ascends while focusing on the subject.
- Circle: The drone flies around the subject in a circle.
- Rocket: The drone shoots straight up with the camera pointing down.
- Spotlight: It rotates around the subject while keeping them centered.
- Helix: The drone spirals upward around the subject.
- Boomerang: It flies in an oval path around the subject, ascending and descending in the process.
While the Neo is designed to be operated without a remote, it can be paired with the DJI Fly app, giving you virtual joysticks to control it from your smartphone with a range of up to 50 meters. You can also adjust the tracking angle and distance through the app, offering more freedom for shooting from various distances.
For more advanced users, the Neo can also connect to the DJI RC-N3 remote, extending the video transmission distance up to 10 kilometers. If you're into immersive flying, it’s compatible with DJI Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3, allowing you to perform one-touch aerobatics and navigate tight spaces with ease.
Stability and Performance
Despite its small size, the Neo is built to handle challenging conditions. Equipped with a single-axis gimbal, it can withstand high-speed flight and maneuvering, as well as wind levels up to Level 4. When paired with DJI’s RockSteady and HorizonBalancing stabilization, the Neo reduces image shake and keeps the horizon straight for smoother footage. Its infrared and vision positioning system ensures steady hovering, even in windy conditions.
Storage and Convenience
With 22GB of internal storage, the Neo can store up to 40 minutes of 4K video or 55 minutes of 1080p footage. No need for cable, just connect to your phone via Wi-Fi and transfer the footage directly to the DJI Fly app. For seamless editing, the app offers templates, music, and effects, allowing you to create and share videos quickly without using extra phone storage.
For audio, the drone can connect to your phone’s microphone to record sound, or you can use the DJI Mic 2 for better audio quality. The app also eliminates propeller noise, giving you cleaner sound when recording vlogs.
Easy Charging
Charging the Neo is simple. You can plug it into a power source using a Type-C cable, or use DJI's Two-Way Charging Hub to charge three batteries at once, speeding up the process and improving efficiency.
