PLDT and Smart Communications, Inc., continue to roll out Experience Hubs to bring digital services closer to their customers, this time, in Gapan City, the oldest town in Nueva Ecija.

Considered as the “Footwear Capital of the North” due to its thriving shoemaking industry, Gapan City is home to over 122,000 residents as of 2020. It is also a component city of Nueva Ecija, which plays an integral part in the agricultural sector of the country.

“We want to delight our Smart and PLDT customers in Nueva Ecija, prioritizing their needs and enhancing their journey with us. Our goal is to narrow the digital divide, enable access to communications, especially in the regions, and empower local governments and their communities with digital tools and connectivity to help them improve their lives and boost their local economy,” said John Y. Palanca, SVP and Head of Sales and Development at PLDT and Smart.
At the PLDT and Smart Experience Hub on the third level of Robinsons Gapan, customers from the city and neighboring towns can purchase the latest promos of Smart Postpaid and PLDT Home , or switch their mobile numbers to Smart and TNT. They can also explore some of the latest smart gadgets to improve their home and lifestyle. The stores also feature self-care kiosks to help customers discover the best mobile and home connectivity plans that are suited for their lifestyle, and entertainment areas to engage the customers. Knowledgeable store specialists are also ready to receive the customers, to ensure a meaningful visit.

Initiatives to broaden and deepen the reach of its retail and customer service underscore the PLDT group's aspirational multi-year transformation, with elevating customer experience as one of the key priorities. They also contribute to the group’s endeavors to provide connectivity to all.
