The grand opening event, themed "Laro Tayo?" (which translates to "Let's play?"), was a celebration of gaming and its enduring appeal.
The event drew industry professionals, media representatives, and gaming content creators. Highlights included speeches from Jean-Francois Valle, Zone Managing Director, and Chip Go, Studio Manager, along with interactive studio tours, exclusive production showcases, and various engaging activities designed to celebrate the spirit of gaming.
“We are incredibly excited to show our new office space and open our doors to partners, media, and key members of the gaming community,” said Studio Manager Chip Go. “We’re proud of how far we’ve come, co-developing 12 AAA games and 3 DLCs since we started. Recently, our team celebrated the launch of Skull & Bones, and we’re looking forward to our upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, in which we played a major role.”
JP Tan, Studio Art Director, spoke about the inspiration behind the new office. “We always say our ‘workplace is our playground.’ When designing the space, we aimed to create an environment that inspires our team to craft memorable gaming experiences.”
Attendees explored the new office through guided tours, gaining insight into the innovative workspaces where game development happens. The event also featured various activities, including game stations and a live band playing video game music, all while guests enjoyed classic Filipino snacks and refreshments.
The event concluded with press interviews with key company figures, who shared that Ubisoft Philippines is hiring and encouraged interested individuals to apply via their website.
