The realme C63 sports a sleek and modern design, characterized by its compact and hefty build. At just 7.74mm thick and weighing 191 grams, depending on the color variant, the phone feels solid and looks premium in hand. The IP54 dust and water resistance adds a layer of durability, making it suitable for everyday use without worry.

The realme C63 comes in two stylish colors: Leather Blue and Jade Green. I had the chance to review the Jade Green model, which looks really sleek. It features a light design that uses magnetic particles to produce a nice rippling effect.

The device’s glossy back panel tends to easily pick up fingerprints and smudges. It's good that it comes with a basic protective case to keep things clean.

On the right side is the volume rocker, providing easy and intuitive control. Adjacent to it is the power button, which has been upgraded to a Dynamic Button with an integrated fingerprint scanner. 

This not only ensures quick and easy unlocking but also allows you to customize its functionality. Whether you need quick access to the flashlight, mute function, camera, or music controls, it’s all accessible with a simple tap.

The left side houses a dual SIM tray with an additional slot for a microSD card, allowing for expanded storage options. At the bottom, you'll find a USB-C port, a loudspeaker, a microphone, and a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio connectivity.

The rear camera system is neatly integrated into a rectangular module at the upper left corner. It boasts a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a depth sensor and is complemented by an LED flash.

Display and Sound
The realme C63 boasts a large 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, vibrant colors, and smooth performance for a better viewing experience. The Rainwater Smart Touch and AI Dual Light Sensors adapt the screen's brightness to different lighting conditions, ensuring comfortable visibility whether you're in bright sunlight or a dim room. Plus, the Customized Lowest Brightness setting is nice for late-night reading or video watching.

The display excels in both video playback and gaming. Its high refresh rate ensures smooth transitions and reduced motion blur, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The sharp resolution brings out the details, making it a pleasure to watch videos and play games.

Audio Performance
The phone's audio quality is clear and sufficiently loud, thanks to the 200% Ultra Boom volume feature. This makes it ideal for media consumption, whether you're watching movies or listening to music. However, while the sound is adequate for most purposes, it lacks depth and richness, so don't expect a premium audio experience.

Upfront there's an 8-megapixel selfie camera supports Air Gestures, allowing for touchless interaction. You can navigate through short videos, social media, and more with a simple wave of your hand, adding a layer of convenience to your user experience.

Additionally, the Mini Capsule 2.0 feature provides practical functions like Charging and Battery Status, Data Usage, Step Tracking, Weather Notifications, Event Reminders, and Music Playback Control. Its easy to customize these settings under Special Features in the settings menu for a more personalized touch.

Reliable Performance for Everyday Use
The realme C63, powered by the Unisoc T612 processor and boasting 8GB of RAM plus an additional 8GB of dynamic RAM, delivers solid performance for everyday tasks. With a hefty 256GB of storage, there's plenty of space for apps, photos, and videos.

Multitasking and Streaming
In my experience, the realme C63 handles multitasking efficiently. Switching between apps is smooth, and streaming videos is a seamless experience with little noticeable lag. The phone manages daily activities like browsing, social media, and messaging without any hiccups.

Gaming Experience
When it comes to gaming, the realme C63 performs decently for its category. I tested popular mobile games like "PUBG Mobile" and "Call of Duty Mobile" on default settings. The gameplay was generally smooth and enjoyable, though pushing the graphics settings higher resulted in noticeable lag and stuttering.

For casual games like "Boxing Star: Real Boxing Fight" and "Sky: Children of the Light" the experience was excellent. The gameplay was fluid, and I encountered no issues, making it a good choice for those who enjoy less demanding mobile games.

Overall, the realme C63 is a reliable performer for everyday tasks and casual gaming. It manages multitasking well, and while it's not suited for high graphics settings in demanding games, it handles default settings adequately. For casual gamers, the smooth gameplay makes it a solid option.

Photography Performance
The realme C63 sports a 50-megapixel AI camera that delivers decent photos for its price range. The AI capabilities enhance scene recognition and optimize images, providing good details and color accuracy. 

In standard camera mode, the C63 captures clear and colorful photos in well-lit conditions. However, in low-light environments, the camera tends to get noise, though the AI noise reduction helps somewhat.

Camera Shooting Modes
Standard Mode: This mode works well for everyday shots, capturing good detail and color in bright conditions. It's reliable for outdoor photography and well-lit indoor settings.

Portrait Mode: This adds a bokeh effect by blurring the background, making the subject stand out. While it's effective for profile pictures, the overall quality is just decent.

Night Mode: is used in low-light conditions, and the AI camera brightens and clears up low-light photos. It does improve the quality to some extent, but the results can still be noisy and less detailed compared to higher-end smartphones.

50MP Mode: This mode allows you to take high-resolution photos, which is useful if you need to crop or want more detailed images. The detail is good, but don't expect professional-level quality.

The camera can record videos at 1080p and 30fps. This resolution is good enough for basic video recording needs, but it lacks stabilization. To avoid shaky footage, it's important to keep a steady hand or use a tripod. The video quality is decent and suitable for casual use, such as social media posts.

Overall, the camera is capable of taking good photos and videos for its price. It performs well in good lighting but struggles in low-light conditions. The 1080p video recording is adequate but requires steady hands due to the lack of stabilization.

With up to three years of software support and two major updates, this commitment is rare in the budget segment and adds significant value for users, ensuring that you won't need to upgrade your smartphone soon.

The Realme C63 is rated IP54, which means it has dust and water resistance. You can use your phone confidently, knowing it can handle everyday splashes without issues. Using the phone in the rain has never been easier with its reliable touch interaction features, even with wet hands or a wet screen. You can unlock your phone, answer calls, and enter your password without needing to wipe off the screen.

The realme C63 also boasts impressive durability. While the brand claims the phone can survive a one-meter drop, it's still best to keep the phone in a case for better protection against accidental drops.

I've been using the Realme C63 for a while, and these features stood out in my experience. The promise of long-term performance is particularly reassuring, knowing that my phone won't lag anytime soon. The IP54 rating and rainwater smart touch are lifesavers, especially during unexpected downpours, and the phone's durability gives me confidence that it can handle daily wear and tear.

Battery and Charging
Battery life is crucial for any smartphone, and the realme C63 does not disappoint. With a full charge, it easily lasted me through a whole day of use, whether I was streaming videos, scrolling through social media, or gaming.

The fast charging capabilities of the realme C63 is also notable. Using its 45W charger, I was able to boost the battery from 0 to 20% in just 15 minutes. By 45 minutes, it had reached 50%, and a complete charge took around 89 minutes. While it might not be the fastest charger out there, it’s more than adequate for those moments when you need a quick recharge before heading out.

Safety is also a priority, with the realme C63's charging solution certified by TÜV Rheinland. The device incorporates 38 safety protections and an intelligent four-core chip protection, ensuring safe and efficient charging without the risk of overheating or short circuits.
